Man for crown court on assault charge

IAN Pryke, 55, of Wymers Lane, South Walsham, is to appear at Norwich Crown Court after he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm, attempted grievous bodily harm and dangerous driving.

The charges relate to an alleged incident involving a car and a woman in Wymers Lane on Saturday. Norwich Magistrates' Court remanded Pryke in custody to appear at the crown court.
