Man arrested after assault in Great Yarmouth sports bar

A man from Gorleston has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at a sports bar in Great Yarmouth last night.

Police were called to Merlins bar on Apsley Road at 10.50pm after reports of an altercation between a group of men.

Norfolk police say the man is in his 30s and remains in police custody.

A man in his 20s suffered a minor facial injury during the incident.
