A GORLESTON man who hurled a bag of heroin out of the window as police raided his home has been jailed.
Paul Chambers, 41 and of Hertford Way, was jailed for 30 months after pleading guilty to a series of drug offences at Norwich Crown Court on September 30.
Officers from Norfolk police’s pro-active unit in Yarmouth raided his home address on August 20 last year when Chambers was seen to throw a bag of heroin from the window as officers entered the address.
Police searched the property and seized heroin worth more than �1,000 and a quantity of herbal cannabis and cannabis resin.
Chambers was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug and two counts of possession of a Class B drug.
