Police say that the death of a man in a Great Yarmouth flat is not believed to be suspicious.
The body of the man, who is believed to be in his 60s, was found in Townshend Close on the Middlegate Estate by police at about 2.30pm on Friday.
An official Norfolk police statement released this afternoon said: “Police have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found in Great Yarmouth yesterday afternoon.
“Officers were called at approximately 2.30pm to Townshend Close following reports a body had been found inside a property.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. Enquiries to establish the circumstances remain ongoing.”
