A GREAT Yarmouth man will appear before Yarmouth magistrates this Thursday charged with theft, possession of an offensive weapon and breaching a conditional discharge.
The 33-year-old, of Marine Parade, has been charged in connection with an incident at Regent shopping arcade in Regent Road on January 13.
Police continue to target shoplifting following an operation over the festive period which resulted in a 48pc reduction in theft from shops in the South Yarmouth area. Officers have warned firm action will be taken against anyone caught shoplifting.
