A 29-year-old man Gorleston who stole perfume worth �375 from Boots has been jailed for four months.
John Eaton, of Cherwell Way, pleaded guilty to the theft at Boots in Riverside Retail Park in Norwich when he appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday.
The incident happened on July 31 when Eaton and another man removed security tags from perfumes before putting them in a ruck sack and attempting to leave the store.
However, he was detained by security staff before leaving the store and the stolen items were recovered.
