He had been dangling off the side of the building for about 40 minutes.

The man came down safely at 11.15am and police say it is unlikely he will be arrested.

There were about half a dozen police vehicles and ambulances in attendance with the road by the building sealed off.

A trained police negotiator had been called out but was not needed as the man came back in before the officer arrived.

An onlooker said they have been moved away from the Iceland store due to the incident.
