A DRUNK who threatened people with a wheel brace outside a Yarmouth seaside kebab shop has been given a three month suspended prison sentence.
Jason Hooley, 30, of Albany Road, Yarmouth, had consumed 10 pints of lager and seven double vodkas before he brandished the offensive weapon in Marine Parade at about 2.30am on May, 17.
On Monday Yarmouth magistrates handed Hooley a three month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, after he had previously admitted possessing an offensive weapon.
The court had earlier heard that Hooley admitted he was drunk but had only welded the wheel brace because he feared he was going to be attacked by a gang outside the UK Express kebab shop.
