Miguel Alvarez, 43, from Great Yarmouth raised over £2,075 for Parkinson’s UK, when he ran the Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday.
Miguel completed the 26.2 mile challenge in four hours and 27 minutes, running for his late father-in-law on the last day of Parkinson’s Awareness Week.
He joined a 230-strong team of runners of all abilities who chose to support Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s UK hopes to raise over £320,000 from the event so it can continue with its vital research work to find a cure, and improve the lives of the 127,000 people in the UK who are living with Parkinson’s.
