WEAR IT WELL: Red meant go for 23 members from the Great Yarmouth Walking for Health Scheme, who faced lashing rain and wind to walk three miles in the Winterton countryside.

The event was timed to coincide with national Wear Red Day on Friday in support of the British Heart Foundation and raised £100. The mayor and mayoress of Great Yarmouth, who were in Winterton to support a coffee morning fundraiser for the lifeboat, saw the group preparing for the walk and supported the cause by making a personal donation and taking part by dressing up in a red feathers.
