MediBear to the rescue! Group helps first responders in north Norfolk with generous donation

Members of a coastal church group have been hard at work creating dozen of special teddies to help calm young children.
MediBears are small teddies used by health care professionals to turn a potentially frightening experience into a positive one.

And a group of first responders for the East of England Ambulance Service, who are used to being the first on scene following a 999 call, has been overwhelmed following a recent donation of them.
Responders from the Stalham group in north Norfolk have seen the effectiveness of MediBears in calming a child down.
So when they put out a request for volunteers to knit more bears, they said the response was fantastic.
Members of the Walcott Church Cafe group immediately got knitting and the result was dozens of MediBears wearing a plethora of bright outfits, waiting to bring comfort.
