Meet law and order team in Blofield

Residents in Blofield, Brundall and Lingwood will have the opportunity to discuss issues and raise concerns when the police visit their villages.Officers from the Acle safer neighbourhood team will be joined by representatives from Wherry Housing for the visits on Monday.

Officers from the Acle safer neighbourhood team will be joined by representatives from Wherry Housing for the visits on Monday.

The mobile police station will be stopping at Brundall Memorial Hall from 10am-11am, Margaret Hawker Hall, Norwich Road, Blofield, from 11.30am-1pm and Lingwood Village Hall from 2pm-3.30pm.

Issues raised will be noted and fed into a priority setting meeting, where police and community representatives will select up to three issues to be the neighbourhood priorities.

Sgt Julia Sandell said: “By taking the mobile police station into the villages means that we are making ourselves more accessible to the community and allowing members of the public to speak to us more freely.”
