Men deny murdering teenager

TWO men have denied murdering a teenager who died after being tied to a tree and having petrol poured down his throat.

Jonathan Clarke, 19, and Jimi Lee Stewart, 24, entered not guilty pleas today at Norwich Crown Court.

Jonathan Clarke, 19, and Jimi Lee Stewart, 24, entered not guilty pleas today at Norwich Crown Court.

Maria Chandler, 40, did not enter a plea during the hearing.

The three stand accused of murdering 17-year-old engineering student Simon Everitt, of Great Yarmouth, between June 6 and June 29. His body was found in woodland at Mautby, near Yarmouth.

Clarke, of Telford, Stewart, of Yarmouth, and Chandler, also of Yarmouth, are next due to appear before the court on December 11.

Their trial has been listed for April 20.
