A FINE selection of ales brewed by a number of local and regional brewers will be on tap at this year’s Great Yarmouth Beer and Cider Festival.
With so many breweries giving their beers weird and wonderful names, the specially produced Festival Guide, incorporating a tasting notes section, will give real ale enthusiasts a better idea on what to expect from Rusty Bucket, Polly’s Folly, Pooh Bear, 8 Ball and Beach Collieball!
To date 57 different ales have been confirmed from 14 different Breweries including some local favourites and one or two from further afield.
Yarmouth’s own Blackfriars Brewery leads the list of local breweries taking part bringing with them, amongst others their multi-award winning Yarmouth Bitter.
Other brewers returning to the annual festival include Buffy’s, Elgoods, Ole Slewfoot, Green Jack, Humpty Dumpty and Woodfordes.
There will also be a number of brewers new the festival being featured including Panther, Mauldons, Brandon, Adnams, Nethergate breweries and from London’s East End the Cockney named Beavertown Brewery.
