Fans of all things miniature are in for a treat this weekend when a Great Yarmouth attraction hosts its popular £1 days.

Merrivale Model Village is offering the discounted entry to all visitors on Saturday and Sunday.

The cut-price offer is generally offered in low season as a treat for local folk.

And its a tradition its new owners Frank and Frances Newsome and keen to keep up, offering both Saturday and Sunday at a discount.

She hopes the £1 days as well as delighting locals will give people a chance to find out more about the special events.

For the first time the gardens will open at Halloween with a spooky gnome trail. And at Christmas there will be thousands of twinkly lights and festive figures.
