A Hopton girl has secured a place at the finals of the national Miss Teen Great Britain competition.

Mollie Dawes, 11, will be taking to the stage at the Globe Theatre on Blackpool Pleasure Beach in October.

Mollie said: “I am so happy to have made the grand final of Miss Teen Great Britain, I cannot wait to meet the other finalists in October and hopefully make my home village and family proud.”

She has been modelling for six years and has entered and won five pageants and is currently Miss Norfolk and Miss Morfolk Beauty, and also Dreamstreets Miss Pre-teen uk and Little Miss European.

Her mother Tanya Dawes said: “We have received the amazing news that Mollie is one of the few girls to gain a place in the grand final.

“We are so proud of her as she is such a lovely humble little girl. She has done amazingly well.”
