Moorland Primary School's Early Years Foundation Stage have been learning about the life cycle of different animals. They have nurtured caterpillars, tadpoles and have spent the past two weeks tending to some chicken eggs. There was much excitement at the end of the school day when the eggs started to move and then crack! The children were able to watch the whole process from initial crack in the egg to hatching and were all very excited. The others were not very far behind and the children now have four cute fluffy chicks to care for.
