NEARLY 100 children from Moorland's Nursery and Reception and Village Green's Day Care donned raincoats, packed a lunch box and jumped on a coach and went on a day trip to Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens in Filby recently. The children were able to see both familiar and unfamiliar animals close up, learning what they eat, the noises they make and experienced how they move. On returning to school the children were keen to re-enact their experiences and have spent much time pretending to be otters, tigers and crocodiles!
