Almost one in five Spring breaks at Haven Holidays villages at Caister, Great Yarmouth, Hopton and the Wild Duck at Belton are grandparents giving their grandchildren a treat according to the company.

Haven's holiday parks offer family-friendly breaks with kids clubs for toddlers to teenagers and entertainment from children's shows to live bands and cabaret acts.

A company spokesman said: “The parks are an ideal self-contained environment for youngsters to learn greater independence.
