A woman who bought alcohol for her under-age daughter and her friends has been fined �80.
Police investigating criminal damage caused by drunken youths at allotments viewed shop CCTV footage to find out who had been buying booze.
They traced the drink back to the mother of one of the group believed to be responsible, who was fined �80 after admitting the offence.
PC Maria Lambert, from Dersingham safer neighbourhood team, said: "The evening after the alcohol was sold, we suffered a considerable amount of damage at the allotments, with bottles of alcohol the same as those bought in Thaxters found at the scene.
"Under age drinking is a common theme involving anti-social behaviour which can plague communities. Youngster will often ask adults to buy alcohol for them but this is against the law and we will take action as this case shows."
