Myleene Klass became a victim of a hit-and-run after a lorry ploughed into her car and drove off, her agent said last night.

The TV presenter and Marks and Spencer model, who grew up in Gorleston, was left unhurt by the crash which happened as she drove to a meeting earlier this week.

It is understood a lorry hit the back of her Audi convertible as she stopped at red traffic lights in Islington, north London, and the driver failed to stop to exchange details.

Myleene continued her journey to the Ivy Club, where her agent Jonathan Shalit was hosting a reception for television figures to meet his clients.
