BRADWELL beauty Zoe Grant celebrated finishing in the top five at this year's Miss Norfolk contest. The 19 year old was part of the small group of girls called out to the stage at the end of the night for the winners' announcement.
The title was won by Louise Daynes, from Norwich, who will go forward to the Miss Great Britain pageant later this year.
Zoe, 19, is studying fashion and textiles at Great Yarmouth College and was taking part in her first beauty contest.
As a toddler she was runner up in the Miss Pears competition 16 years ago and featured on the front page of the Mercury.
She said: “It was a really good night and I didn't expect to finish in the top five. I'm really busy at the moment completing my degree, but might like to get more into modelling in the summer.
“I like designing outfits for festivals and raves, I found it expensive buying clothes to wear out so started making my own. I already sell items on Ebay and am thinking about setting up my own business.”
