A NEW package of A-levels is to be launched at Great Yarmouth College in September to open greater opportunities for its students now and when they plan their futures.
A-levels in subjects in performing and visual arts are to be introduced as complete packages or as “add-ons” alongside vocational courses to help students with their next step to university.
A levels in English, drama and theatre studies, dance, film studies, art, graphics and textiles will start in September.
Students will be able to choose to study a complete package of A levels from either the performing or visual arts or a combination of the two or choose one or two extra A levels alongside their vocational BTEC national diploma in performing arts, music, media, graphic design or any of the other diplomas.
To find out more about the new A levels and all programmes in the new School of Arts and Creative Technologies contact an information centre adviser on 01493 655261.
