New chapter in Yarmouth library history

Families can join in the book fun at Yarmouth's new look community library tomorrow as it celebrates its opening with a host of activities.

From 11am to 4pm at the library in Tolhouse Street there will be DJ lessons, manga comic workshops, computer games sessions, face painting and balloon modelling.

From 11am to 4pm at the library in Tolhouse Street there will be DJ lessons, manga comic workshops, computer games sessions, face painting and balloon modelling.

There will also be calligraphy workshops, Japanese costume making displays, shanty singing and cookery exhibitions in the new community kitchen.

The £1.3m lottery funded work at the 47-year-old library has seen 42 computers installed, a new look entrance built and more books, DVDs and computer games added to its already bulging shelves.
