One of Great Yarmouth’s most recognisable tourist attractions is hoping to also establish itself as a place to be for the foodies in the borough.

The restaurant inside Sealife Great Yarmouth has recently been taken over by two new owners, and is looking to a bright new future under the name Urchins Family Restaurant.

The restaurant has been taking over by two local businessmen, caterer Chris Church and Ian Dickinson - former manager of Yesterday’s World.

The eatery’s name is a homage to Mr Church’s wife Teresa, with ‘Urchin’ being the pet name he chose to give her.

Since taking over the restaurant in February, Mr Church and Mr Dickinson have worked long hours refurbishing, creating a beach bural and giving the place a fitting seaside feel - given its situation in the popular tourist attraction.

The restuarant, which is geared at providing a fun dining experience for the whole family, will also provide gluten free options.
