Housing developers have asked for permission to a strip of farm land into housing.

The technical change is a supplementary application to plans for 100 new homes on a former mushroom farm in Martham.
The new application seeks to provide additional green space and other uses ancillary to the homes plan which has already been approved.
Developer Persimmon Homes was granted planning permission to build the new homes off Back Lane in the village last year.
The thin strip of land runs from the southern corner of the site to the north east corner.

Despite some opposition from villagers, the plans were approved.
Back Lane would be closed to two-way traffic and become a cul-de-sac, with two turning points.

A zebra crossing would be installed close to the former junction of Back Lane and White Street.
