South Walsham mill and site will be open to visitors on Sunday, July 23, from 2pm to 5.30pm in aid of the Big C cancer charity.

South Walsham mill is a new post mill, designed and built in the local style by millwright Richard Seago. The mill site is home to various other restoration projects including steam engines, tractors and farm wagons. Items on display include the recently returned to Norfolk steam engine from Broads Pleasure Steamer Queen of the Broads and the former Haddiscoe and Somerton Easton and Amos ‘grasshopper’ steam engines.

There will be teas, cakes and bookstall. Local author Sheila Hutchinson will be in attendance with her local history books.

Admission: adults £2.50 (to Big C) and children free.
