TEAMWORK was the key word as children in Years 5 and 6 at Winterton Primary School worked all afternoon with environmental artist, Kate Munro, to create a living willow shelter in the school's garden area. The work was part of the school's Creative Partnerships project which aims to highlight some of the benefits of a small school education, through a range of creative activities, including musical composition with the other “creative agent”, professional musician, Kit Cecconi, who has been helping the children write their own songs. A performance day is planned for May 20 when the whole school will parade round Winterton village, stopping at important locations in the village to perform the results of their collaborative work.
