A slimming group has been relaunched in the Great Yarmouth area by a woman who has already helped hundreds of people to lose weight.

Karley Manthorpe, 40, is running the Bradwell Slimming World Group at Mill Lane Community Centre on Tuesday mornings.

She first walked through the doors of Slimming World in September 2010. At 5ft 4in, she weighed 15 stone and felt unattractive and frumpy.

After going on to lose four stones, she went on to be a Slimming World consultant and has been running the Bradwell Tuesday evening group for four years and a Saturday group in Gorleston for two years.

She said: “When I heard the Bradwell morning group was looking for a new consultant due to the previous consultant retiring, I wanted to go onto to take care and support those members to lose weight and I’m very excited to do so.” The group meets every Tuesday at 10am and 12pm. Call 07552 760668.
