A building company has launched a small grants fund for Norfolk-based charities and groups.

The scheme is part of Hopkins Homes wider charitable fund, which will see the developer give out more than £500,000 across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgshire over the next five years.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available for charitable, voluntary and community groups and social enterprises that are addressing a particular cause in Norfolk.

James Hopkins, executive chairman of Hopkins Homes, said: “As a local housebuilder we understand how important strong communities are. The work charities and good causes
do in our region is invaluable.”

The fund follows the recent Norfolk charity vote, another element of the Hopkins Charitable Fund, where a total of £10,000 was given to three charities across the county, with Great Yarmouth-based Centre 81 named the winner.

Further details of how to apply and eligibility criteria can be found on the Norfolk Community Foundation website.
