North Denes Primary School has been running horse riding classes and pupils recently passed their introductory stage examination in horse riding.

By the time of their last session, pupils were able to walk and trot on their ponies and walk them independently using the lead reins.

Over the course of three weeks, 12 children have also been enjoying an after school sailing club at Filby Broad, led by the Norfolk Schools Sailing Association.

During the classes, children completed six hours on the water, with two children per boat.

By the end of the three weeks, all pupils had completed their On Board Certificate.

Pupils also got active recently for the school sports day, which remained dry despite a chilly wind for the many spectating parents.
