THE pupils at North Denes are committed to reducing their global footprint and living in sustainable ways. This has led to them being awarded Green Flag status by Eco Schools, a national organisation.
Pictured are the school's eco monitors with their Green Flag which is only awarded to top performing schools in the Government's sustainability agenda.
The school involves the whole community in their vision and works with many agencies to inspire the pupils in their work.
Currently they are working with the National Trust on an Energy Busters programme and with Sustrans for a Bike It project. Last year they worked on an environmental project with the Broads Authority.
