CHILDREN at Great Yarmouth College Nursery made masks and took part in arts and crafts as part of cross-campus events to celebrate Black History Month.
As well as making African masks, the pre-school children took part in storytelling sessions to learn about black culture.
Anwulika Whitehead, sector leader for Equality, Diversity and Safeguarding Centre for Individualised Learning, said it was important to include the nursery children in college events
She said: “The idea is to reach as many people as we can and arts, crafts and stories are ideal for that age group.”
