WITH the beautiful weather driving people outside, St John Ambulance Norfolk has got the perfect weekend activity - a tour around one of the county's most spectacular gardens.

On Sunday the Norfolk Broads are playing host to local residents as the owners of The Mowle, Ludham are opening their fantastic garden for charity.

This is the fourth in the series of the St John Ambulance Norfolk Open Garden's scheme and is designed to raise some much needed funds for the county's leading first aid organisation.

The garden is open from 2pm until 5.30pm, perfect timing to catch the afternoon's rays and enjoy the unusual trees, waterside planting and a large collection of gunnera. A wide variety of wildlife is attracted by the water, which also sets off the many shrubs and perennial plants.

Admission is 3.50 per adult, and children under 12 go free. Sadly no dogs are able to attend this event, however there are plenty more gardens later in the series where dogs are welcome.
