ORIEL High School's year 10 photography group have a major role to play in celebrations to mark the anniversary of the granting of the Charter.

The youngsters have had an invitation from English Heritage to mount an exhibition of photographs based on the Row Houses and the historic environment within Great Yarmouth.

Sue Allen, responsible for education for English Heritage at the Row Houses has seen the “very impressive photographs” the students have been exhibiting at Norwich Cathedral and wants the pupils to do a similar exhibition.

The exhibition would be based in Row 111 House throughout the summer season.

A spokeswoman for the school said: “This is the first time the Row Houses have been used in this way and it is a fantastic opportunity for both our students and Oriel to be involved.”
