A CHURCH burglary in Ormesby has prompted the police to release CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

The burglary happened between 10am on Tuesday, March 22 and 4pm on Thursday, March 24 at St Margarets Church on Yarmouth Road.

Suspect(s) entered the church while it was open to the public and forced entry to a metal key cabinet.

Keys were stolen and used to gain access to closed areas of the church, however it does not appear that any other property was taken.

Investigating officer, PC Richard Bennett said: “We are particularly keen to trace the man pictured in the CCTV images who we believe may have been in the area prior to the incident.”

Anyone with information should contact PC Bennett at Great Yarmouth Police Station on 0845 456 4567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
