Diversions and traffic lights will be put in place as work is carried out to resurface a busy Caister road.
Work will begin on Sunday, October 28 to carry out carriageway resurfacing works on Norwich Road and Ormesby Road junction.
Norfolk County Council said the work will commence on Sunday afternoon, in order to cut down on disruption, and will take three days to complete subject to suitable weather conditions.
Three way traffic signal control will be used on Norwich Road to facilitate access to the supermarket.
A full road closure will be required on Ormesby Road from Sunday afternoon through to Tuesday afternoon.
A fully signed local diversion using roads of the same or higher classification will be in operation each day.
Vehicle access to businesses and properties within the limits of the closure will be maintained from one end at all times. Pedestrian access will be maintained while work is underway.
The council thanked people for their patience while the works to replace the existing worn out road surface are carried out.
The work will cost £45,000.
