Four senior year students at Ormiston Venture Academy have successfully completed a 12-month scholarship with BWell Health Club.

Working in partnership with the academy, Spencer McCormack, director of BWell is offering a range of opportunities for the youngsters.

The four students undertook many key responsibilities roles including customer relations, personal training and general maintenance of the club. They also received expert advice about running a business and creating entrepreneurial opportunities while enjoying the benefits of free gym membership for the year. The group visited Potters Resort as part of the program to experience how a big business operates.

Thiri, Rhiannon, Megan and Yasmin all completed the year successfully.

Mr McCormack said: “Those who started and finished the programme are now looked upon as part of the BWell family, and we will be there for them whenever they need us.”

The students have begun a legacy for future students to follow within the Venture into Business scheme.
