SIMPLY the best! Staff working for Archant’s Norfolk newspapers and websites took the major honours at the company’s annual awards night last Friday at Dunston Hall. Among the winners were sales support manager for the weekly newspapers, Lynn Bartlett who was presented with her Support Person of the Year Trophy by Archant Anglia managing director Johnny Hustler.
The Employee of the Year award went to Steve Philp from the coastal (Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Beccles and Bungay, team.
The Printed Product of the Year award of the year went to jointly Coastal Advertiser Series, and the Waveney Advertiser and Great Yarmouth Advertiser.
And to round off the coastal successes the Team of the Year award was presented by Mr Hustler to the Norfolk Coastal Publishing team, based at North Quay in Great Yarmouth.
Mercury editor Anne Edwards said: “The coastal teams have the recognition they deserve for their hard work, commitment and loyalty to the weekly newspapers in the group. The awards are well deserved.”
