More than 900,000 cubic metres of sand has now been dredged and reclaimed at the site of the town's £50m outer harbour project.
The stone dumping vessel, Frans, has finished work - more than 771,000 tonnes of rock has now been delivered to the site.
Work continues on the breakwaters with the northern section almost complete while the southern breakwater is about two-thirds complete.
Four hundred anchor wall steel sheet piles have been installed on site along with more than 30 tubular piles and this work will continue in the coming weeks.
Over the next few months construction workers from contractors Van Oord and Nuttall will focus on installing concrete wave wall sections.
Yarmouth's outer harbour will be one of the biggest new port developments to go ahead in the UK in recent years and is expected to be completed in the early part of 2009. The project will also boast a £30m short sea container terminal.
The project has been funded through a public private partnership with part of the financing, about £18m, coming from the public sector.
