Parish council election for Stokesby

ONLY one parish council election will be held within the Great Yarmouth borough on May 5 – in Stokesby, where 10 candidates are vying for seven seats.

In parishes where there are an equal number of candidates, or not enough, the nominees will automatically become a parish councillor. The list where councils will be changing is:

Belton with Browston (13 vacancies) Nathan Brown, Barbara Dorothy Clark, Margaret Mary Greenacre, John Terence Lynch, Elizabeth Mary Myhill, Peter Rodney Burwell Nichols, Peter Gary Reddy, John Joseph Rudrum, Philip Kenneth John Stone, Brian Claude Swan, Brian Peter Watts.

Burgh Castle (seven vacancies) Victor Howard Badnell, Eric Lionel Foster, Trevor Desmond Greenacre, Robert Charles Grimmer, Jill Skipper

Caister (South) (eight vacancies) Thomas Charles Andrews, Anthony George Baker, Brian Alfred Lawn, John Noel Myatt, Anthony George Overill.

Caister (North) (eight vacancies) Antonie Fekko Beuzekamp, Peter Cyril Burley, Brian David Herring, Peter John Parker, Linda Avril Rumble.

Filby (seven vacancies) John George Baldry, Peter William Chapman, Louise Elizabeth Elms, Percy Frederick Hudson, Ross Antony Stanton, Adrian David Thompson, David Walter Thompson.

Fleggburgh (nine vacancies) Scott Charles Bird, Celia Maureen Boon, Frank Sidney Brown, Alan John Greenwood, Barry Arthur Hall, Jonathan Michael Roper, Helen Rebecca Evelyn Scott, Richard Sewell, David Gordon Woollard.

Fritton with St Olaves (10 vacancies) Fiona Cowan, Margaret Jean Johnson, Allan Mendum, Christopher Brian Nash, Keith Rodney Nunn, Jill Olivia Rose, Dennis John Sewell, Peter James Storey, Douglas Gordon Youngs.

Hemsby (two seats, by election)

Mautby (seven vacancies) Vivyan Bishop, Sarah Caroline Coleman, Peter Frederick Gillett, Jean Alison Hodgson, Kenneth Sanderson, Hilary Margaret Searle.

Ormesby St Michael (seven vacancies) Peter William Burrage, Richard William John Myhill, Robert Ray Swanston, Simon Alfred Tooley, Jeremy Eric William Walker.

Repps (seven vacancies) David Graham Burrage, Charles Herbert Gander, Alison Ruth McTaggart, John Leonard Mitchell, Andrew John Wright, Thomas William Wright.

Rollesby (seven vacancies) Edward David Aldred, Karen Jayne Bracey, Shaun Vincent Day, Barbara MacAllan, Rosemary Rudrum, Richard John Henry Tacon.

Stokesby (seven vacancies) Philip William Hugh Crane, Vivienne Fabb, Gillian Godfrey, Robert James Lloyd, David James Murison, Grayam John Prince, Natalie Lesley Reynolds, Sylvia June Reynolds, Stuart Anthony Ward, Edward Charles Wharton, Richard Trevor Youngs.

Thurne (five vacancies)

Penelope Davies, Patricia May George, Peter Robert Roll.

In Acle, 14 candidates will be contesting 12 parish council seats. The candidates are: Barry Brooks, David John Burnett, Barry William Coveley, Evelyn Clara Elliott, Diane Fisher, Brian Stanley Grint, John Harriss, Tony Hemmingway, Lana Helena Hempsall, Isobel Katherine John, Nigel Robert Law, Rodney William Perry, Malika Steed, Sarah Clare Thomas.

There will be four votes to be cast for some electors in the Yarmouth borough – the Lothingland ward Norfolk County Council seat, borough council seats, and the referendums for Alternative Voting and an Elected Mayor.
