The grey pink gala and white sulphur crested cockatoo were stolen from their cages at the shop in Victoria Arcade at about 1am.
Both birds are 16 weeks old, have ID tags and can say hello. The cockatoo has yellow flecks in its crest.
The thief forced entry through a steel and wooden door, which would have made a great deal of noise, and was seen fleeing the scene towards Howard Street North.
Both birds had previously been on display in the store.
