Sainsburys in Great Yarmouth celebrated their birthday with a big bank holiday weekend with loads of activities instore

Colleagues adorned thereselves in customes over the years and gave a free limited edition bag for life to all customers.

The mayor and mayoress, Cllr Tony and Sarah Smith, attended the tea party in the store with customers and retired staff who shared the memories of the past since the store opened at Yarmouth in 1975.

The mayor said he was delighted to share in the celebrations for the achievement and wished the store to the next 140 years and the store manager Mark Collins received a certificate from the mayor on behalf of the store.
