A passenger in a car pulled over by police was found to be sitting on three soft rolls of carpet under lay instead of a seat.

Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Armed Policing Team were carrying out checks in Great Yarmouth when they made the astonishing find.

In a tweet, they said: “Multi agency checks in Gt Yarmouth with @DVSAgovuk. Normally people would sit on a seat while travelling as a passenger, not 3 rather soft rolls of carpet under lay!”
