AN 83-YEAR-OLD pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on the A47 at Acle on Thursday.
The man from the Norwich area was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with life threatening head injuries after being hit by a black Audi close to the junction of the A47 and westbound slip road at 7.40pm.
He died in the early hours of Friday morning.
