Pupils and staff at Peterhouse First School in Gorleston recently held a sponsored 'marathon' challenge, where everyone walked 26 laps of the playground.
A grand total of £2102 was raised with the money being split between the 'Children with Leukaemia' charity and providing treats for the children as the school is closing in August 08 after 57 years.
The children found the walk easy and staff have put this down to the fact that 10 minutes of dance/exercise is performed every day as part of the schools 'Take 10' commitment, which has seen the school award National Healthy School status.
