PETERHOUSE Primary School have had a road safety week to raise awareness of being safe when out during the winter months. The theme was Be Bright Be Seen and the children received a visit from the local road safety officer. The week ended with a Bright Day, when the children were encouraged to come to school wearing bright clothes to reinforce the need to be bright and be seen. The week was organised by deputy headteacher, Karen Lea. She said: “The children really thought about their own safety during the week and now have reflective stickers to take home given to the school by Beach Radio, for which we are very grateful.”
