Sixteen and a half hours later, three golfing friends were tried but elated after taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Support Longest Golf Day Challenge at Gorleston Golf Club.
The challenge was to complete four rounds of golf in one day, which they completed and raised a massive £2,500 so far.
Kevin Carter, Troy Blackwell, David Uden and Ian Root began their challenge at 4.25am and completed the last round at around 9pm.
The foursome thanked friends and family for walking the course with them during the day to give moral support, to Tim Reilly for feeding them throughout the day, to Nick Brown for the loan of golf trolleys, and to everyone who sponsored them.
