POLICE in Great Yarmouth are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop road traffic collision which occurred on the Acle New Road, near to the traffic lights outside a supermarket.

POLICE in Great Yarmouth are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop road traffic collision which occurred on the Acle New Road, near to the traffic lights outside a supermarket.

It is believed that the incident occurred at approximately 7.30am on Friday, August 7.

It is alleged that the collision occurred between a green Piaggio scooter and an orange or red VW Golf which failed to stop at the scene. The rider of the scooter needed hospital treatment for his injuries.

It is understood that several people did stop to offer assistance to the victim.

Police are keen to speak to any members of the public who may have witnessed this incident or from anyone who may have assisted the victim or who has information in relation to the motorist.
