TWO lucky people have to chance to run out onto the pitch with football's legends - and stars from TV's soapland!

Dale Gordon’s Legends team will be taken on the Soapstars at the Wellesley football ground in Great Yarmouth on Sunday, September 18 – a change to the advertised date of September 11 because of a clash with Norwich City’s Sky TV game.

The professional footballers’ squad is truly legendary with the likes of Bryan Gunn, Jeremy Goss, John Wark, Paul McVeigh, Darren Huckerby and Dion Dublin to name only a few. Who will make the final cut to the final squad?

In the squad on the other side are TV favourites from Emmerdale, Coronation Street, The Bill, Waterloo Road, Shamless and Hollyoaks as well as Big Brother stars. The final line up in this team will be confirmed nearer to the date due to filming commitments, but spectators can be assured there will be lots of familiar faces.

Tickets for the 3pm kick off game, which cost £10 for adults, £5 concessions, with other deals, are available from Caesars Bar, Marine Parade, Yarmouth; Anglia Copy & Print, Deneside, Yarmouth; Fusion, High Street, Gorleston; The Barber Shop, Market Row, Yarmouth and Legends events on 07545 034375, or legendsevents@btinternet.com

Tickets bought previous to the change in date of the game remain valid.

For a chance to win a place to play for the Legends team, or the Soapstars team, all you have to do to enter is complete the entry form in this week’s Great Yarmouth Mercury, to arrive no later than 9am next Friday, August 26. Normal Archant competition rules apply. The first two correct entries out of the hat will be the winners. You must be aged over 16 to be eligible to play.
